Q: I want to advertise my boat on your website – how do I do it?
A: First you need to signup by register on our website– when this is done you log-in to your private costumer area with the user ID and password you receive by an automatic sent e-mail. When you are logged-in, you select “Add boat” and fill out the information and pictures for your boat advertisement. After this is done, you follow publish and payment instructions.

Q: How long time does it take before the boat is online?
A: you can access yachts2buy.com 24 hours every day. You boat advertisement is online in real-time just after your approval and payment of the boat advertisement.

Q: Can I make changes in my advertisement after approved and paid?
A: Yes- you have access to your costumer area 24 hours every day – your are free to make all the changes you want, including changing pictures, price adding more information etc.

Building my advertisement – change my languages
Q: Can I changes my chosen language in my costumer area
A: Yes and no – Yes it is possible to change it, but do not change it in the process of making the boat advertisement – this will provoke errors in the settings of some of the boat information (hull type, type of vessel etc.) The same problem will happen if editing in the boat information after you have approved or published the boat advertisement.

Building my advertisement – I get an error massage.
Q: I get an error every time I finish my advertisement.
A: This is typically an error in the file name of your pictures. Because of the following character `~!#$%^&*()+=[]{};'\:"|,<>?æøåÆÅØ or a filename with a space between the letters. (Typical downloads from the internet) Please do not reload, refresh, back or forward on the error page. Go to your picture files and rename them. Save the new names or name and go back to the webpage with error. Go to picture upload and upload the pictures with the new filename(s).

Building my advertisement – what is translated?
Q: I can see you have multi languages advertising – but what is translated in my advertisement
A: Most of the basic information is translated automatically, but not all text. The text you type in the last text cells (after uploaded pictures in the ad-area), is additional “plain-text” information to the translated information. We advise you to use simple terms, English and / or product names.

Q: My advertising period is finished but I want to renew the period for further advertising.
A: Your boat information is stored: Log-in to your costumer area and select, “my boats”, click on “edit”, select “publish” and “submit”. You will then be asked to go to payment. After you have paid – the boat is online again.

Payment – how do I pay?
Q: How can I pay for my boat advert?
A: You can pay by credit card or by e-invoice. When you pay by credit card on yachts2buy.com, we are using a safe encrypted line, which guaranties a safe transaction. You can also pay bye-invoice. E-invoice will be sent to your e-mail address, containing yachts2buy.com™ bank information, including SWIFT Code and IBAN number, witch you use to transfer the money by your bank.

Q: Why is the price 0,00
A: When you see 0,00 where the price normally would be, it is not the price. It can be that some sellers do not wish to show the price of the vessel or if it’s a new vessel, that price varies from country to country. You should always contact the seller for exact price of the vessels for sale.

Q: I see to currencies in on the listed boat ads – What is the Trade currency.
A: The Trade currency is the one you see, that is not inside a parentheses. The currency inside the parentheses is the currency you have chosen to convert the trade currency into, and is a guide for your convenient.

Q: I don’t get any search result.
A: Try to change you search criteria or simplify them. When you request is very specific, you decrease the chance of getting more results.

Search result – correct information!
Q: Can I trust the information that I see in the advertisement, to be correct?
A: All information is to be given in good faith. But you should always consult with the seller and an expert before buying the vessel. It is normal to have a vessel surveyed by a professional before buying it, and the seller would normally NOT consider it an “unfriendly” action. Please also consider that typing error can be an option of incorrect information.

Q: I would like more pictures and data on the vessel
A: Use the e-mail link to contact the seller and ask him for the additional information. It is common for the seller of the vessel to have further pictures and information ready to e-mail you back. You will find the sellers e-mail by the contact information in the specific advertisement.
